This pattern was discovered on www.flytyingforum.com by Susan, one of our local flyfishers. We have found it very successful in catching trout, trolled on a sink tip line. Ted is going to try the pattern on a size 8 hook as a caddis imitation in the Interior in June.

Hook- Size 10-14 Scud Hook (We used a 1X long nymph hook)
Body- Stillwater Solutions Olive Sparkle Dubbing - Sue uses a light olive colour. Also try a darker peacock olive.
Legs- Olive Goose Biots
Thread- Olive 8/0
Tying Instructions: -Tie on your thread
-With either a Dubbing loop or dubbed thread dub your body. Start the body a bit thin, get fatter in the middle and thin out again as you get close to the hooks eye.
-Tie in one goose Biot on either side of the hook at the head. The Biot should be off to the side and slightly angled to end above the body.
-Whip Finish, and you are done
