Hook - Mustad 9672 - size 10, 12
Thread - Black 8/0 or 12/0
Weight - wire wrap 0.10
Tail - black marabou, Krystal Flash in gold or pearl
Body - Claret Micro Crystal Chenille
Place hook in vise and wrap with wire about 10 wraps. Tie wire down firmly with thread in several layers.
Tie in marabou tail a little longer than the hook shank. Tie 2 strands of Krystal Flash on top of the marabou.
Tie in micro crystal chenille and wrap a slender body and a neat thread head.
