Hook - curved nymph - TMC2302 - size 12 - 16
Thread - olive 12/0
Tail - brown hackle
Rib - med red wire
Body - dk olive Soft Blend dubbing
Wings - black goose biots - 2 on each side
Head - olive Sparkle Blend dubbing
Wrap thread on hook to tie in point just above the barb.
Use brown hackle fibres to make a sparse tail no longer than the shank of the hook.
Lay red wire under the hook from about 2/3 up the hook down to the tie in point and wrap with thread.
Form dubbed body in dark olive up to about 1 1/2 eye width back from the eye.
Wrap wire up evenly spaced as a rib.
Cut small biots from very top of feather. Tie in 2 biots on each side as wings.
Form small head with olive dubbing with green sparkle.
